Signature Workshop
Transforming Experience Through Story & Art
A 4-hour, peer-led workshop for veterans navigating emotional recovery, identity shifts, and posttraumatic growth. This experience introduces narrative healing and expressive art as accessible, non-clinical tools for integration and transformation.
Participants will: • Reclaim their personal stories through structured writing
• Externalize emotion and insight using collage and symbolic art
• Engage in group reflection to deepen connection and personal meaning
Adaptable for Warrior PATHH, Save-A-Warrior, and other veteran-serving programs and VSOs, this workshop is rooted in Dr. Stevens’s own lived experience as a veteran and alumnus of both Save-A-Warrior (Cohort 0268) and Warrior PATHH (Cohort MTTAWWP051).
No art or writing experience is required— only openness to creative self-discovery.
